Currently (Since early 2021) I am working for Enhearten Media (small international game dev studio), on Sanctuary RTS game, as a Lead Programmer. https://www.sanctuary-rts.com/ Sanctuary is a Real Time Strategy, with focus on supporting large scale battles, many thousands of Units and multiplier, inspired by Total Annihilations, Supreme Commander and Zero-K RTS games. Project utilizes Unity DOTS technology, for high performance computing, so the high goals for massive battles is in reach of hands for small studio like ours. As of June 2022, our team consist of 19 members. As a lead programmer I am responsible for our code base and managing our programmers task. I am also involved in recruitment process for new staff. Unsurprisingly, my reach past experience and expertise from in various industry and academia, comes very handy. A bit of my Unit past: I have been working with Unity at least since Unity 4, around 2013-2014, where I started my Unity dev journey, with game modding (From The Depths) https://fromthedepthsgame.com/. I released few mods back in a day. Later, while prototyped number of smaller Unity projects, I initialized for example my own IterOrbis, or EcoPico games, which are inspired by FTD. (see video). I developed and experimented with many systems, for space mechanics, spherical planets, vehicles constructions using voxels, modding using SQLite, LUA and HTML5 based UI with implemented and modified blockly (visual programming https://blockly.games/). Also learned extensively to utilize Unity DOTS experimental packages, like Job System, Burst and ECS for high performance and multithreading. Show less
