In the market research environment, we make scripts based on client’s needs. The main part of this job is to script, debug and change when need already programmed scripts. We use IBM SPSS Dimensions, with the routing part mainly based on Visual Basic. The look and feel of the questions used in the surveys are made using HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery). This helped me to be very familiar with OOP and developed my skills to solve problems efficient and fast. After we receive the data from our respondents, we use SQL to see the database and to find eventual flaws in the script. This job really helped me to become closer to the programming world. Even though this was my first job, I learned here what it's like to work in a multinational corporation, how to interact with colleagues and how the corporate hierarchy works. The main task was to take calls from our contractor's clients and guide them to solve the problems they have with our services, applications or subscriptions.
