I managed a team of 2 P&G employees and a team of 5 distributors’ logistics managers through:• Designing and implementing the new supply chain model for P&G Egypt distributors to be followed for the next five years, enabling them to achieve their sales target and to optimize their operating cost• Introducing & implementing a new supply chain concept in P&G Egypt and that is Direct Shipment from P&G warehouse to indirectly covered customers, delivering savings of $800,000 annually to P&G Egypt through eliminating an extra leg in the supply chain• Building the distributors’ logistics organization through hiring 5 logistics managers to manage overall logistics operation at the five distributors• Decreasing the distributors’ lost sales opportunities from 4.6% to 0.4% in one year ($7,000,000 in revenue) through developing the distributors’ logistics capability, by offering logistics colleges and ongoing functional trainings to the distributors’ logistics organizations• Delivering against following KPIs: P&G missed cases, P&G cost to serve, Ex. Distributors’ missed cases, distributors’ logistics capabilities upgrade
