I had the honor of teaching Dharshini (affectionately called Shini), for NA training. She is caring, empathetic and compassionate. She has an appetite for learning and strives to get things right. Her diligent concern to get things right can be mistaken for timidity but timid she is not. She has an active listening approach and was not afraid to ask questions.

I worked with Dharshini during the Summer of 2014 for a youth program that addresses climate change by employing youth and providing no-cost services to residents throughout Northern California. Dharshini assisted me with training and mentoring a team of 8 youth employees. In a matter of days, she became an indispensable member of our team. She often went beyond her job description by leading training delivery, facilitating group discussions and mentoring youth. This role demanded quick learning, patience and flexibility--all skills that Dharshini has. She actively seeks feedback and implements suggestions quickly, which is critical in fast-paced work environments. To top it all off, she is a genuine and down-to-earth person, which makes her a pleasure to work with. She'd be an incredible addition to any team.
