I came to Ring mostly as a frontend developer to work on internal tools to markup videos for data scientists. During work, my primary goal was to build a tool for a moderating video and posts which people were sharing. We setup initial infrastructure for this. In the early stages, I helped with backend work as well. We used Python(asyncio) on a backend, AWS for storing and retrieving data, especially, AWS DynamoDB, Amazon S3, and Typescript and React on the frontend. Lately, I also was involved in the process of training the neural network. I helped to collect datasets, preprocess them. We tried to speed up the work of CNN and LSTM neural networks to gain better results. Technologies:Typescript, ReactJS, Python, pandas, asyncio Show more Show less

I came to Grammarly as a third or fourth frontend developer. In the beginning, I did almost everything that involved frontend: editor, profit service, landings, extension — also a lot of infrastructure work. While I had been working, we rewrote two times all our frontend. From jQuery to Vue.JS, then from Vue to React.JS. During my work, Grammarly changed its business model from a premium to freemium, that's also involved much work to make all flows smoothly. During my work, Grammarly changed its business model from a premium to freemium, that's also involved much work to make all flows smoothly. I helped to setup CI/CD, with Jenkins and TeamCity, rewrite small parts of our deploying tools. I also had a chance to visit San-Francisco and work closely with our CEO, on part Grammarly editor. I also implemented referral functionality; it was touched many components of a system. I also worked a lot on a payment workflow. Sometimes it was hard, as everything was dramatically changing. Still, happiness from the result of the work done was always justified.Technologies: React, VueJS, Meteor, NodeJS Show more Show less
