The NCAMA is a partnership of ten community colleges, local workforce Investment Boards (WIBS), industries, non-profit entities, and local education authorities that will increase the number of North Carolinians with certificates, diplomas and degrees in advanced manufacturing training to meet the quality, efficiency and productivity demands in the global market. To do this, we are implementing strategies to accelerate progress for low-skilled and other workers; improve retention and achievement rates to reduce time to completion; and, build programs that meet industry needs, including building career pathways.
