  In this role I reported to the operations manager/site manager and I was solely responsible for stock control, capacity planning and optimising daily cutting. Responsibilities included: • Optimising and planning daily cutting for Lisec Auto Loading machine using Lisec GPS PROD-Based system • Optimising and planning all heavyweight cutting on Bottero/Lisec cutting machine with 3 bay auto loader and tilt table, as well as planning all lightweight 8 bay loader cutting • Planning and optimising all laminate cutting over 2 shifts on Lisec 6 bay auto laminate table • Planning all louvre and hand cutting on a daily basis • Managing production levels in cutting, processing and furnacing • Recording of pack tickets for furnace • Auditing and adding furnace test pieces into applicable optimisation runs • Stock control using SAP-based planning and ordering stock via Viridian Supply Chain and Import Dept on a weekly basis • Managing base stock levels that trigger order points, keeping stock to a level of $1.5million • Managing Issues to Production on a daily basis • Recording and claiming for any damaged goods • Stock taking of all glass products up to 200 items and also storeroom stock take and ordering • Keeping open relationship with sales reps/manager with product requirements for projects Show less
