A ‘seeker of opportunities and new perspectives’ is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Dan. As a Career Advisor and Graduate Assistant, I watched as he expertly filled the role of Technology and Data Specialist while also proving himself to be a capable leader and supervisor at the same time. I was especially impressed with his ability to motivate others, communicate in a kind but candid way and ask questions that no one else thought to ask. I know that we’re all going to miss the amazing conversations we had with him each day and his amazing and sometimes humorous office decorating skills! Dan Utterback would be an asset to any team.
