I held the ANZ IT infrastructure, Windows/Linux systems, networks, and security operations, managing AWS cloud infrastructure and providing network security solutions. A key achievement in this role was the successful migration of 150 servers to AWS Cloud, which required hybrid connectivity and compatibility assessments. I was also responsible for managing four different AWS cloud regions (PCI, PROD, UAT, DEV) from 2013 to 2023 (i.e., Implementing AWS auto-scaling, Physical to Virtual migration, ELB/ALB, monitoring networks and systems and firewalls/VPN etc). ** Senior Network Security & System Engineer (Sabre Pacific 2006 – 2015) ** I achieved significant cost savings by overseeing the network migration from dedicated link to B2B VPN. In terms of network security, I built VPN access in AWS with both Palo Alto, Cisco VE in AWS and CISCO ASA firewalls, increasing the security and reliability of our network connections.
