  I am working with APPL on the Capsicum Seed Charring Project, which involves using microscope photography to document chili pepper seeds before and after being subjected to various experimental charring conditions, in order to study the impact of charring on chili pepper seed morphology. I am also involved in the Digital Identification and Geolocation of Indigenous Seeds, Ecosystems, and Environments Database (DIGISEED) project, which, in collaboration with various Southeastern Indigenous communities, is an effort to digitally document seed collections to contribute towards cultural revitalization and food sovereignty.
