Foreign Agriculture Service United States Department of Agriculture 1400 Independence Ave SW #5071, Washington, DC 20250 To whom it may concern: As a fellow business student at Texas Southern University, I am writing to you in support of Mr. Divonte Lumpkin and his desire to attend excellence through achievement. I know he strives to become the best man he can be in the workplace, classroom, on the court, and in his community. Mr. Lumpkin has been a fellow student for more than two years and he has shown academic aptitude and ambition above and beyond among his peers. He was in several of my classes, but most notably performed remarkably on Accounting Principles, Statistic and Business Law. He has often made critical points on class discussions that demonstrated his exceptional ability to analyze advanced accounting systems and understand texts. His technical and interpersonal skills are exemplary and often lauded by the class. His projects and experience in business, especially accounting, makes him valuable both in the work place and in life. He has been given scholarships for his top notch performance in academics by maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being recognized as a leader by the National Association of Black Accountants. He showed how well rounded he is with outstanding performances on the Texas Southern Men's Basketball team while maintaining his leadership role on campus, in organizations, and his abilities in the classroom. He is even enrolled in a few more electives than his course requires, expressing his hunger to learn. His competitive spirit and impeccable character while having a drive for education is what makes him such an exceptional student. Without reservation, I recommend him highly as a co-worker or leader. Please do not hesitate to contact me to provide you with any further information regarding Mr. Divonte Lumpkin. Best regards, Jeremiah Zelt
