https://www.ufv.in/student-life/ Being the Executive head of the Music Club is an excellent way to get leadership experience. I learned how to create a new organization, recruit members, and get it running smoothly. Colleges love seeing examples of leadership, and being the Head of a club is a great way to show that you know how to take charge and handle responsibility. When one's a student, being involved in co-curricular forces one to learn how to budget time. We need to schedule our days very carefully if we want to keep up our grades while we're busy with rehearsals, work calls, and the other demands that Music or a band makes on our time. Good time management skills are enormously important to employers which I am learning from being at this position. I prepared a band at College, got it prepared for our first show at Diwali and had our opening night there. It was the first band at UFV and was well-applauded by all. The efforts were uncanny and were appreciated by everyone. It made me learn how to lead and plan an event, i.e., event participation and management were part of my learning. The next step in my further college involvements would be, to involve more students with the club, creating more events and shows, also, holding competitions for student engagement. Show less

http://qbizindia.com/ The experience of Qbiz has forged a new way of thinking about classroom theory in me. An abstract concept worked through in a real situation, as an immediate need, changed my view of thoughts and me as a participant. I got a direction from this co-curricular. Professionally, I learnt to practice professionalism, operations management, leadership, and a strategic approach to Marketing. A significant experience that made me realize how important succession planning and strategic leadership is. It was the most important experience that made me improvise as a person and a leader. While performing the duties of a Manager at Qbiz, I was regularly required to complete tasks, and experience other employees' perspectives and learned how to keep them united and make them feel to think for the benefit of the organization and not personally. This made me feel that I got some bad points and good points in myself that I need to improve and carry respectively along with me. Show less
