It is humbling indeed to recommend Maureen Frank; I do so from a position of immense respect and frankly, warmest regard. Maureen has achieved so much and has justly received Global and National recognition for her authorship, leadership, business innovation and of course, contribution to and leadership in the field of gender diversity. As those who have the privilege to know her are acutely aware, Maureen is also an authentic, fun and downright delightful human being. All this, somehow wonderfully, combines into a

Ten of Queensland’s top businessmen are vowing to do what they can to champion a greater sense of employee equity. Male Champions of Change is a group of chief executives and managing directors from some of the state’s top companies who have joined together to advocate for more effective strategies and practices for bringing about fairness, equity and a culture of inclusion in our workplaces. The business leaders have committed to championing gender parity in their organisations and creating opportunities for men and woman to develop their careers at an equal rate. They are especially committed to trying to influence a long awaited mindset shift toward doing more to leverage and grow the talent of woman in areas of work or industries where woman are currently disadvantaged or underutilised. The idea for the Queensland based Male Champions of Change was inspired by the formation of a similar group formed in April 2010. Human Rights Commissioner Liz Broderick was instrumental in bringing together some of Australia’s most influential and diverse male CEOs and Chairpersons to form the Male Champions of Change group. The Queensland group is inspired by what has been achieved in the area of women in leadership roles and they now want to make their mark by putting forward tangible and pragmatic ideas for change which can take place at all levels of an organisation.
