Bio
Paul Hutley
Chris has a wealth of abilities just waiting to be mined ! He has an eclectic set of interests and skills, which range from medieval music to the subtle details of the fibre channel protocol. Chris is a very intelligent guy and has a particular knack for simply going away by himself and learning a new technology or subject, simply because he finds it interesting. I also enjoyed Chris' humour and enthusiasm when he worked with / for me on various storage projects (eg. renewal of our Series i tape SAN, and tape hardware refresh) and I feel that he would be an asset to any team.
Rachel Whiteley
I worked with Chris on a wide ranging Netbackup environment upgrade and subsequent SN6k decommissioning and tape balancing work. This internal project involved multiple critical changes to production systems affecting almost every server and application in the company. Chris was assigned to assist with this work using his SAN knowledge but also assisted with areas that weren't within his usual remit of work. He approached external suppliers with confidence and ensured all deadlines were met. He provided regular updates with progress made and raised any issues encountered, ensuring they were fixed as quickly as possible. Chris was a pleasure to work with.
