  NGN Marches is a student run organization. The objective is to campaign and raise awareness on global issues that are pertinent to our community through events like marches and protests. NGN Marches provides a platform for youth to take action against social issues. And through this platform, it is able to spread awareness and build more community participation enabling us to create a better world. I co-founded NGN Marches. As a chair, my responsibilities included networking, managing departments (logistics, event management and finance), obtaining sponsors and partners, scouting and obtaining a venue, overseeing marketing strategies, acting as a keynote speaker and managing interdepartmental communication. I hosted the first ever women's march in the city of Fremont to raise awareness on domestic abuse where the Vice Mayor of Milpitas, Karina Domniguez, came to deliver the key note address. Show less
