  Mainly at the Zwan factory at Schoten, I was part of a team that completely modernised the factory. My role was to transform the factory in a fully automated state-of-the-art lean manufacturing environment. In this period we installed around 120 PLC's, and worked on the first SCADA and MES systems. Later in this period I moved on to other companies of the Unilever group, of which Lipton was the most important.
