He was swift in familiarizing himself with novel research topics and further enriching the given tasks with his own ideas. Due to his excellent work, he was subsequently offered to do his master thesis research in Transfer Learning with us and was further offered a position with us. During this time, he was responsible for the development and testing of Intelligent Document Analysis software and later on was integrated into the DevOps team where he was involved in building CI/CD pipelines which made our software delivery process much smoother. He brings together good Data Science hard skills, a sharp and intuitive mind for quickly grasping any knowledge/business domain, and good communication skills. Specifically, he tackled complex NLP research problems, such as implementing models for measuring semantic non-compositionality of collocations, and the discussions with him over his results were some of the most enlightening conversations in AI I've had. On another occasion, we had him do an exploratory analysis of several disparate data sources' APIs and response objects, and he delivered an incredibly intuitive and beautiful presentation of his results.
