I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where my young students can thrive and develop their skills and interests. Every day, I am responsible for planning and delivering exciting and interactive lessons that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each child. Whether I am teaching phonics, numeracy, or creative arts, I try to find creative ways to make learning fun and memorable. I also am a mentor and role model to my students, helping them to build confidence, self-esteem, and a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their lives. I also work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure that every child receives the support and guidance they need to succeed. In my classroom, I have created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that encourages curiosity, exploration, and collaboration. While applying a variety of teaching techniques, such as group work, individual projects, and hands-on activities, to keep our students engaged and motivated. Using my experience and Education Degree, I decided to gain a better multicultural outlook on Education and accepted a role teaching Asian based children English online. It is a very rewarding experience, as it allows me to help children develop their language, confidence and social skills. It has enabled me to gain more experience in teaching English as a second language and has definitely made me realise that I would love to teach English internationally. The role at Apollo has enabled me to gain a tremendous amount of experience as a teacher and experience the day-to-day classroom environment. Since working as a teacher’s assistant, I have worked in a variety of primary schools, including SEN units. Working with children who are less able than others and need extra support is a challenging but rewarding experience, which I love. Supervising activities in the classroom, working with groups of children and on an individual basis. For example, helping a group with mathematical equations or listening to an individual child read. Volunteering in this particular school also gave me the opportunity to work on a one to one basis with children with special educational needs, meaning supporting an individual child’s learning.
