Dinesh interned at Ashling Partners during the summer of 2022 and I managed him directly. Dinesh was great to work with. He showed a great aptitude for learning. He picked up on new technologies within the Intelligent Automation/RPA space very quickly, was very eager to learn, and asked good questions that showed good understanding of concepts. During the summer, Dinesh was on my team for our annual Innovation Council. Innovation Council is a competition where employees at Ashling form teams and pitch ideas for new use cases/service offerings that could be taken to new and existing clients. Dinesh was immensely helpful in the programming of our team's POC. When it came time to present to senior leadership and other guest judges, Dinesh demoed the POC in front of the judges, which included many firm leaders. I was particularly impressed with his poise that he demonstrated during this presentation. He walked through the demo and explained it thoroughly and clearly. I think Dinesh's intelligence, work ethic, enthusiasm, and great communication skills would make him a great asset to any company. Dinesh is the type of person that would succeed in whatever role he is in.

As a Web Development Intern at the National Brick Research Lab, I worked on an intranet website for the Laboratory Information Management System. This system was used to maintain and manage test results on ceramics and bricks. During my time with the team, I developed user interfaces utilizing HTML and CSS and created web applications and components using PHP programming language. One of my key responsibilities was ensuring the website was functional and user-friendly. I utilized my skills in PHP programming to create dynamic web content and ensure that the website was responsive to user inputs. Additionally, I used Javascript to enhance the website's functionality further, allowing for dynamic content and improving the overall user experience. As a QA Engineer at Cybage Software, I was responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through effective testing and debugging procedures. My key responsibilities included: 1. Performing initial debugging procedures: I reduced the number of issues by 20% by performing initial debugging procedures, such as reviewing configurational files, logs, or code pieces to determine the breakdown source. This helped in identifying the root cause of issues and resolving them promptly. 2. Scripting automated tests: I accelerated the project delivery timeline by scripting automated tests for database impacts and regression testing. This allowed for more efficient testing and enabled faster identification of issues, thereby reducing the time required for manual testing. 3. Documenting software defects: I documented software defects using bug-tracking systems such as Jira and Microsoft TFS. This helped in tracking the progress of issue resolution and ensured that all defects were properly addressed before the product's final release. Show less
