The purpose of National Appointment Scheduling Systems (NASS) is to provide USCIS with an enterprise-wide appointment scheduling system that addresses existing case load demands and implements new requirements as they emerge. NASS is sponsored by the USCIS Chief Information Officer (CIO) in conjunction with USCIS Transformation Program Office (TPO) to provide a centralized, scalable national appointment scheduling system that will subsume and replace the automatic scheduling for fingerprinting, interviews, and oath ceremonies currently provided by Computer-Linked Application Information Management System (CLAIMS) 4, Adjustment of Status (AOS) Scheduler, InfoPass, and the Refugee, Asylum, and Parole System (RAPS) Scheduler. • Involved in environment setup for Amazon Relational Database Services (AWS-RDS) for Oracle Database 12c/11gR2, Setup parameter values, security group, automated backup of database • Migrated data from legacy systems to Oracle 11gR2 on AWS-RDS Oracle Database • Upgraded AWS RDS Oracle 11gR2 database to Oracle 12c and migrated data from Oracle 11gR2 to Oracle 12c • Build ER Data model, Data Dictionary for Infopass/Biometrics/Adjudication Applications by using CA Erwin Data Modeler • Build scheduled cron jobs for batch scheduler, generate NGS printing, bulk reports, and support development team to build SQL for better performance • Developed package/procedures for reports for better performance • Deploy scripts in production for release, backup of database and monitor of database. • Worked as a DBA Roll for application development group, Database backup, Oracle database server performance monitoring, Tuning and trouble-shooting, Apply maintenance if any, Build database link to access multi databases, support as DBA for other application group Environment: AWS RDS 12c/11gR2, Oracle 11gR2, PostgreSQL 9.5.4, PL/SQL, CA Erwin 9.64, Windows 7.0, RedHat Linux 6.8
