      Responsibilities: Handling of Routing tests of the transformer - Power Transformer Testing, Temperature rise, Insulation levels, dielectric test, lightning impulse, determination of sound levels, on-load tap changers, partial discharge measurement, oscilloscopes and peak voltmeters for impulse tests, evaluation of software used for the determination of the parameters of impulse waveforms, application of dissolved gas analysis (DGA) to factory tests on electrical equipment, voltage measurement by means of standard air gaps, measuring the no-load loss and no-load current, measuring the short-circuit voltage impedance and the load loss, measurement of winding resistance, verification of voltage ratio and vector group or phase displacement, separate source AC withstand voltage test or Applied voltage test, induced voltage test, - Measurement of dissipation factor (tan delta) of the insulation system capacitances, measurement of the harmonics of the no-load current. - Assembling of Power Transformer - Preparation of cores and coils - Transformer connection such as wye, delta, auto, zigzag - Transformer Victors for correct sequence for two transformer in parallel - Fitting of all cables - Fittings of current and potential (voltage) transformer - Installation of primary, secondary, medium or third windings - Transformer Tap changer connection - Electrical clearances for transformer basic insulation level - Fitting of gauges such as oil temperature, winding temperature, pressure relief device - Fittings of transformer bushings and pumps - Testing such as ratio, partial discharge, hi pot and megger, impulse, load loss, no load losses, zero phase, voltage induce - Testing of Cubicle wiring and protective relayingI have tested following Power transformer in my working period at Wilson Transformer Company from May-2010 to March-2013 5MVA-10 units, 10MVA-20 units, 30MVA-10 units, 75MVA-15Units, 125MVA-10Units, 160MVA- 5 Units, 225MVA-2 Units.
