I took on the position as Operation Manager at The Wine House in May 2008 at a chance opportunity that arose at the time. This, not being my main field, I quickly adapted to the position and have been the sole Operations Manager since. I hire and train all "front of house (FOH)" staff and manage all human resources including payroll. I manage the staff on a day to day basis to ensure the success of the business. As a retail store as well as a restaurant, The Wine House falls into several categories as we host many private events, wine dinners and festivals. During my employment, I received my Certified Wine Specialist (CWS) with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in Washington DC and hope to continue my education in this field.
