      • Sep 2015 - Aug 2016

I worked in the Faculty of Technology, Design and Environment at Brookes, which is home to five different departments. During this one year placement, I got to rotate between three different roles, Digital Media, PA to the Marketing Manager and Marketing Intelligence. The role of PA involved managing the diary of my manager and team, coordinating meetings with internal and external staff, liaising with stakeholders, creating minutes and raising purchase order numbers. During the last four months of the internship, I assisted the Market Intelligence Officer in data analysis, demand assessments and written report work. As well as this, I create brochures and posters, copywriting for print and web, monitor finance purchases within our team and cover photography and videography for all departments and Schools within our Faculty. Also within this placement, I’ve had to manage twelve different social media accounts, so using software such as sproutsocial and Google Analytics has become vital in order to do this effectively. • Social Media Intern at the Oxford Brookes Poetry Centre
      • Dec 2013 - Oct 2014

The goal for this particular internship was to promote poetry events in the lead up of the annual National Poetry Day 2014. On the day I specifically helped around the city center locations, which included greeting poets, takings pictures for our Facebook page and covering the Twitter feed. I went onto work for the Poetry Centre again during the Summer of 2015, assisting with the promotion of their competition they had coming up. I was in charge of monitoring their social media accounts, particularly Twitter, helping to raise the profile and make connections from others in the industry. Show less
