What a rockstar! Dimity smashed the planning for UNE’s 2022 Open Day. Working with Dimity with such a treat - from the great communication, knowledge of event planning to the willingness to learn. Dimity has a special talent with finding the focus of the day and sticking in target. I can’t wait to work with Dimity again!

Over the past 12 months I have had the privilege of working with Dimity at the NWS Department of Primary Industries as colleagues within the Business & Social Resilience Programs team. Dimity is an absolute professional; her skills in the areas of community engagement, project management and strategy are second to none. More specifically, she is a specialist in social media management and her ability to deliver polished events and projects is magic to watch. Dimity has a particular passion for seeing rural people and businesses, particularly women, succeed and is a real champion for entrepreneurial rural women. She is always looking to create opportunities to leverage and share the wide array of talent that exists in rural and regional communities. I highly recommend Dimity for her professionalism and believe she will go on to do incredible things. I have absolute confidence in her and would not hesitate to provide a reference for her.

Savvy Birds is a regional women's network providing personal and professional development opportunities to all kinds of women across the New England and North West. Launched in 2016 and sadly wrapped up in 2018 due to limited hours in the day for all we wanted to achieve. After seeing a significant need for women to feel empowered - no matter their background - Michelle Morgan and I launched the business with focus on events, workshops and keynote speaker sessions to engage regional and rural women. After building a strong network across the community and continuing to see connections grow, we saw significant positive outcomes as a result of Savvy Birds. As my first experience being a startup founder in a regional location, this was eye opening in so many incredible ways and has led to my huge passion for regionally-based and led female startups.
