It's not easy to come across someone that is as passionate and hard-working as Dimitri. His high-energy was contagious since the very first day I met him, which made me feel part of an important and vibrant community. Not only is Dimitri one of the kindest people I've worked with but also one of the most creative and swift decision-makers I've encountered. He always dealt with an incredible amount of projects with grace and grit, which set the example of excellence to everyone surrounding him. I felt continuously pushed to keep up with his high standards and pace which helped me grow immensely. Without a doubt, one of the most important names in the DevOps space and deservedly so.

Dimitri is a true entrepeneur with whom you don't just "do business" - no, Dimitri builds strategic partnerships that could only lead to one outcome: continuous mutual success. In his role as Founder at DASA, he connects and inspires people, and more importantly: he adds value.

Building better collaboration between Virtalis customers. I conceptualized and set up the Virtalis Leadership Network. The VLN evolved into a global network of 50 VR/XR experts from various industries. The objective: to connect, share, and learn to help their organizations and careers advance. Why join the Virtalis Leadership Network?Developing a VR/XR strategy and driving innovations based on extended reality has never been this challenging. The complexity stems from many moving targets. First, we see enterprises and their ecosystems rapidly evolving. At the same time, we see XR and VR accelerating at an incredible pace, providing new possibilities every day. How do you make sense of these developments? How do you seize the opportunity with some certainty that you are moving in the right way? To help VLN members navigate what is happening in the AR/VR/XR world, I set up a knowledge and learning network with experts from our global customer and partner base. This network helps members advance, grow their network, and accelerate the projects and initiatives they work on.I worked closely with Virtalis customers and external experts to build a global community of experts. I designed and established a brand-new marketing function, including strategy, growth plan, and recruiting the team members to execute the plan. I introduced new online engagement formats that boosted leads, product- and thought leadership. I led, drove, and presented globally recognized Industry Meetups and Webinar Series that accelerated visibility. LinkedIn followers and engagements are ten-folded based on monthly YoY comparisons. The team has become a sustainable engine that delivers predictable results. Virtual Reality improves how enterprises run their business by making processes and decisions faster and more effectively. It allows you to look, experience, engage and collaborate inside your digital models as if they were real. Enterprises are applying VR in various domains, from powerful training experiences to speeding up product development and improving workplace safety. Industry leaders like BAE Systems, Raytheon, Vestas, and Rolls-Royce trust their most complex Visualisation projects to run on Virtalis Software for immersive design reviews, virtual prototyping, factory simulation & planning, digital twins, and virtual operator training. Why? With VR design teams, their vendors and customers can explore, test, and evaluate different concepts quickly without investing in physical prototypes. VR enables higher quality products and faster go-to-market and drives down costs in subsequent phases of the product lifecycle, such as training service engineers to maintain the product. The need for VR has grown in pandemic times as enterprises need to bring together teams remotely and safely from anywhere. Immersive virtual spaces enable robust and remote collaboration for accelerated product development.Virtalis is an ambitious VR/XR player with decades of experience that set a new standard for Enterprise VR with Virtalis Reach, the leading software product for cloud-based XR collaboration. 247leren was sold to KleurRijker in March 2017. 247leren (247learning) designed, developed, and marketed blended learning interventions to solve societal issues of vulnerable target audiences in Dutch society. A breakthrough in Dutch Integration (Inburgering). 247leren was the first to market with an innovative, tech-enabled education program for immigrants to learn the Dutch language, traditions, and culture. These blended learning programs were based on TV/Video, eLearning, Classroom Instruction, and real-life Practice. This program resulted in high pass rates for the Dutch integration exams. Blending these four pillars was disruptive at that time as it boosted the efficiency of the learning process. The traditional publishers lost market share and, within nine months after introducing the 247learning products, became the market leader in this Industry. 247leren developed interventions for High School Drop Outs (back to your future), Loneliness, and Healthcare and worked with training organizations (ROCs) to bring them to market. 247Leren won the European Union e-inclusion award.
