Protein engineering on psychrophilic Alkaline Phospatase (AP).Mutant proteins were discovered with high potential of biotechnological applications. Identification of novel O-glycosidases. A protein family was discovered with a broader substrate specificity. This study resulted in a patent (WO 2009/129086 A2) and a new product by New England Biolabs Inc. (O-Glycosidase).
