I have know and have had the pleasure of working under Dimitar's supervision since 2013. As the Lead SWDV Engineer, he set the priorities for our team and provided outstanding support in helping us to achieve our goals. He has extensive knowledge of the power systems we support. He shares this knowledge freely and is often sought after for his help and advice. He is a recognized and respected source of good technical help and information within the company. Beyond good management, support, and supervision skills, Dimitar configures, maintains, and administers our test suite management and bug tracking database systems. He has also engineered (both hardware and software) many internal tools and test fixtures that allow efficient testing of our products. I thoroughly enjoyed working for Dimitar and recommend him for his excellent technical skills, supportive management style, and his "Customer comes first" attitude. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Greg Viliunas

      • Initiated, developed and built new tools for SW DV Lab in order to speed up test execution and helping company to release more software versions while keeping test quality on a higher level• Managed and planed execution of SW DV projects and finished them on time without delays • Validated firmware and user specific applications of the whole range of Alpha’s products • Worked and collaborated closely with Software Designers to resolve issues• Verified hardware and software of a new company’s controller according to CSA standards, Radiated emission, ESD, Thermal and European standards• Designed and implemented a simulator that automates test execution and validates Alpha’s controller firmware • Trained new employees to work with company’s issue report and bug tracking software• Created and assigned test cases to cover new customer’s requirements• Designed, developed, implemented schematic and PCB layout, communication software (windows application VC++, firmware - MPLABX and C30 compiler) of DSP based controller for a 3 phase auto-variac. It decreases setup time through a rotary encoder based setup and remote control from a computer via RS232 communication protocol with a scheduler. Used for automation of test execution.• Created documentation and reports

Developed and implemented a test jig to help calibrate the output current of Power systems.Developed and implemented a test jig for high-pot testing.Proposal, study and implementation (currently the first stage is fully operational) of a new concept for "burn-in" test for all power modules (rectifiers, DC/DC converters and later inverters). Most of the energy is fully recoverable and the overall efficiency is 80%.
