I reported to Dimitar when I worked for FriendFinder Networks as an IT Project Manager. Although he was technically my manager, rarely did it feel that way. Instead, Dimitar focused on being a great coach, mentor, and above all else -- a friend. Dimitar understood that great leadership requires more than delegation, it's about equipping and inspiring others to do what inspires them. It's about empowering others by creating a safe environment where they can be themselves and where their opinions matter. By living up to his own principles he leads as an authentic role model. It was a great pleasure working with Dmitar, and I would enjoy working with him again.
