Worked within the F&F department at Tesco alongside a great team where we had aims and goals to achieve by the end of the day. Working as a team enabled me to gain more knowledge of what it is like to work with others with different backgrounds. I was given set tasks by my manager daily and given feedback so that I knew how I was performing. I had the opportunity to advise customers and be able to communicate with them whenever they needed help. Working on the tills at Tesco gave me skills in money handling, till use, and approaching customers in a manner which is professional.

Working for this agency enabled me to work for a variety of different dealerships within Staffordshire, I gained many new skills as I was working with many different groups of people. Each dealership had its own way of working and operating daily, so to work with them and achieve their goals was a massive achievement for me. All dealerships had customers from different backgrounds, I gained the knowledge of knowing how to communicate with these people in a professional way. My main role was being the front of the house, greeting customers, offering help and advice, making them feel welcome to the place. I had the role of making appointments, and sending letters to customers which needed them, time management was key as you needed to know which specific times were available.

Within this job I was working on different wards within the UHNM, it gave me a great opportunity to work with people with different professionals. I enjoyed this job in particular as it was something new every shift, learning new things from different wards. I gained many skills whilst working on this role, such as teamwork, time management, communication skills, having a positive attitude, and most importantly having empathy, it is was important having empathy working in such an environment as I was communicating with patients most of the time. I gained time management by ensuring I was getting everything done on time to prevent any issues occurring such as patients not getting the required amount of fluids.
