  My role encompasses two main functions.Firstly, I work alongside our franchise owners in building marketing campaigns aimed at lead generation and member retention on a gym floor level whilst maintaing the integrity of Flex Fitness and sustaining core competencies. I design measurement tools which capture specific key indicators important to Flex Fitness and ensuring investments are cost-effective in driving revenue.Secondly, I create and execute brand level marketing strategy, marketing messages and marketing campaigns aimed at boosting the profile and industry presence of Flex Fitness clubs as the most stylish and welcoming fitness centres in New Zealand.Focuses:2015 - Service the 4 open Flex Fitness clubs with individual marketing campaigns and assets.2016 - Generate new franchise owner leads and develop the full Flex Fitness marketing system to handle franchise growth and perform more efficiently.2017 - Generated 150 new franchise leads - Built the Flex Fitness New Franchise Owner Marketing Training programme and conducted 10 team trainings. - Executed 9 new franchise pre-opening campaigns for gym members in 9 new territories, 4 overlapping simultaneously. - Extended the marketing team to include 1 part-time marketing assistant and 1 part time graphic designer managing content creation, campaign asset creation, club accountability and performance. - Started the marketing advisory council - overseeing brand wide marketing improvements with a consideration for flow-on effects to current franchise owners. - Opened 9 new Flex Fitness clubs with both soft, and Grand open day events - 18 total2018 - ...   Alongside my employment with Flex Fitness New Zealand, I also run my own social media marketing business. We specialise in developing strategy, content and advertising campaigns on social media specialising in (but not limited to) the Facebook and Instagram platforms. We separate ourselves from larger Hamilton agencies by understanding how people use each platform, then re-engineer that behaviour to create appropriate content and advertising which sells! Over the past 9 months I've led social media marketing campaigns achieving an ROI up to 15:1 for my clients.   Having returned from my voluntary service of two years where I developed a work ethic few 21-year olds have, I looked to study, but needed to pay the bills first. I applied, was interviewed for, and was successful in securing a storeman role in the Waikato's leading engineering firm - Stainless Design Ltd. I was active in the consolidation and dispatch of customer orders from our Production and Fabrication centers. Alongside this, we would greet and deal with customers as they arrived to collect their products and as such, I was required to maintain a professional look and manner at all times. Process improvement was encouraged with incentives provided where suggestions which would result in significant improvement in customer satisfaction, employee efficiency and organisational culture were rewarded. In my time, I had 3 suggestions ranked 'top priority' above all others submitted, in which I was actively involved in implementing throughout the organisation of 120-140 employees. As an organization deeply rooted in Lean Manufacturing, I gained special insight and training into a management theory that is currently growing worldwide. Knowledge of KAIZEN principles and techniques have been invaluable to my participation in discussion and debate regarding relevant management theories throughout my time as a student. Stainless Design were generous in supporting me with part time work throughout my study which saw me through and I will be forever grateful.
