    • Marketing Coordinator
      • Oct 2014 - Apr 2015

My goal during this contract was to become a marketing maven, explore all aspects of a marketing department, practice and observe how a company utilizes social media, and refine my writing skills for speaking to an audience. I monitored and managed 3 of the company social media pages with a combined following of 220,000, and used Google Analytics, SEO, a CMS called Spredfast to generate content for over 300 social posts with 71K impressions, and a 37% engagement rate. By the end of my time here, I was sufficiently supporting timely promotional campaign development through social media strategies, tracking, and compiling data to report. Much of the research collected for my social media strategies came from a company employee survey I drafted, disseminated and reported on the findings. The goal was to understand from the inside out how to better the customer experience. This lead me to author a blog post for the company blog and revise 3 high-traffic, long-tail blog posts, while designing visual content to better represent the company services online. My curiosity for learning the effectiveness of an e-mail marketing campaign guided me to design and author an e-mail marketing strategy for the International Sales Account Executive for lead generation and agent support. Through this process, I became familiar with Salesforce and Hubspot as a result. Upon departure there were many aspects left to explore of this ever-evolving and fast-paced environment, then, I knew I had found a career path that suited me. Show less
