  As an Environmental and Policy Advisor at Nivel, I play a pivotal role in driving sustainable urban mobility solutions. My primary responsibilities include working as a policy advisor for Nivel Regulator, our cutting-edge digital regulation tool aimed at "helping cities regulate and stimulate shared mobility and control the public ground". In this role, we advise on policies developed by municipalities, provide valuable insights, and address policy-related inquiries. Additionally, I contribute significantly to the development of environmental practices, both internally for our company and for our clients, to align with our commitment to sustainability and emission reduction goals. I am actively involved in designing an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework, ensuring that Nivel operates with the highest ethical and environmental standards. Excitingly, we have began with the planning of emission monitoring solutions, positioning Nivel as a leader in environmentally responsible shared mobility.   The Sustainability Transformation programme area at the University of Stavanger (see https://uistransition.com/) in collaboration with @Innovation Norway is working on the ENERTOWN (Energy Education for sustainable urban localities) project led from Romania (see https://www.enertown.ro ). In my role as a research assistant for the ENERTOWN project, I investigate and analyze energy challenges within small urban areas. This involves engaging with Romanian town decision-makers, gathering data on energy challenges and poverty, and using critical thinking to address project complexities. I also ensure data quality, apply statistical methods for analysis, and travel to field sites to collect and record data to support policy-making and project success in the context of sustainable energy initiatives.
