  Working for the customs department, I am responsible for the processing of applications concerning the classifications of goods in the (Combined) Nomenclature. It requires a thorough analysis of the particular goods and of the applicable legislation. Bilateral and multilateral contacts with companies, business partners and the other EU-member states are essential to obtain all the relevant information and to assure a uniform application within the European Union.
