The Company Sub-contracted all their work from Cablevision and Verizon. Within a year working at B.B.C, I worked my way into Construction administration: NYC DOT Expediting, Surveying & scheduling Jobs. As the company expanded due to Cablevision and Verizon’s move to fiber optics, B.B.C promoted me to project management. As Project Coordinator, I ran A Crew of 10-15 men depending on the Job size. My responsibilities consisted of: job scheduling (Permits, Mark outs, Surveys and logistics), maintaining finances for all underground projects (man hours / time sheets, vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption and materials) and the proper excavation & restoration of road openings.
