CEO for One Month - Top 10 Global Finalist

After a month of work as CEO for a month in Ecuador, I was chosen as one of the 10 finalists to become a 'Global CEO for a month'. I was selected among 47 For One Month CEOs from around the world and travel to London to compete in the Global Bootcamp.In London I went through intense challenges and individual and group evaluations between representatives from: Germany, USA, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Singapore, Italy, Luxembourg, and Sweden.

CEO for One Month - Ecuador

After an intense selection process, among 200,000 candidates worldwide, 47 CEOs for One Month were selected in each country where The Adecco Group has operations. In Ecuador 3000 applicants applied, among which I was selected to be the CEO for a month. The CEO for one Month program gave me the opportunity to experience the leadership of the company from the highest executive level, General Management. The main function of the position consisted of accompanying the General Manager in all his activities and participating in negotiations, boards of directors and management level meetings contributing knowledge and innovative perspectives to the decision making during a month. At the same time I had the opportunity to understand the management of a multinational company from an executive position and develop ideas and projects that contribute to the growth of the company. Functions: • Assistance and advice to the General Manager of the Company in negotiations and closing of commercial sales • Creation of a new service to market within the portfolio of services • Develop an exhaustive analysis of direct competition • Detect opportunities for growth and improvement at the level global and local Achievements: • Ranking for the global final among the 10 best CEOs For One Month • Implementation of the Youth Executive Council to find solutions to youth unemployment in the country • Positioning of the brand in the local market through the intensive use of media ATL • Participation in radio interviews, press releases and television as a spokesperson for the program in Ecuador. The Student Federation of the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador, is the most important organization of student representation and co-government within the University. It has a trajectory of more than 50 years and is a reference for the Student Federations of several universities in the country. It represents more than 10,000 students from 14 different schools and around 42 specific careers. Its administration is elected through a democratic system of elections for periods of 1 year. The main objective of the Federation is to look after the interests of the students of the University, to manage tangible and intangible benefits for the students and to propose and develop projects, activities, fairs, events, conferences, talks, sports and social activities that complement the integrla growth of all the students in the University. Achievements: • Management of a team of 42 people • Budget administration of $ 450,000 per year • Unification and creation of the 6 headquarters of the Federation in 6 different cities (Ambato, Ibarra, Santo Domingo, Esmeraldas, Manabí, Quito) • Reconstruction of the offices , facilities and campus spaces • Management and control of 11 Departments • 171 Projects executed and completed in one year of management • Organization of the international event TEDXPUCE • Renewal of corporate image and brand positioning Show less
