Growing up I was able to attend the Boys & Girls club of Greater Scottsdale. It truly helped me by staying out of trouble, and opening doors to opportunities that would go on and shape me to the person I am today! I was given the opportunity to work and give back to the next generation once I graduated high school and helped me provide for my self while I was pursing my degree at Arizona State University. I believe the best way I can show my appreciation to the club was to give back to the next generation of kids whom were to attend. Some of my biggest accomplishments so far have been able to teach national programs such as Passport to Manhood which help teenage boys how to practice gentleman manners, creates a safe zone to share upbringing, and normalize the ability to speak up for themselves. I have also continued to volunteer with the Jr. Suns basketball leagues where I have coached within the age group of 12-18. From hosting practices, to commuting the players to away games this has been one of my favorite ways to give back as I am a huge basketball fan. Show less

As an admission advisor my role was to provide elite customer service, and find the best opportunity for prospect students in finding the right program that would get them closer to the career they were looking for. In addition to helping them choose the right program, I would help them prepare for classes by showing them the ropes on how to utilize the online tool in order for them to succeed in class. We also would keep them in contact with our finical services department to submit and compete FAFSA applications. My biggest accomplished that I would receive was meeting, and exceeding the quotas for each quarter in signing students up and walking them to class. I was awarded from my peers for these recognitions and continue to learn on how to improve my service. Show less

My time spent at Zoe holding Company was a valuable learning opportunity that I truly enjoyed. This was my first job out of college and I was able to join a team where we focused on local, and out state work within the general labor field. We assisted with finding talent for Waste Management in sorting, heavy machine operator, and data entry positions within the Phoenix AZ, Sacramento CA, Austin TX, and Raleigh NC areas. I learned to utilize tools such as linkedIn, indeed, zip recruiter, monster, and career builder to source candidates. One of my biggest accomplishment was able to provide talent and communicate with english, and spanish prospects. Show less
