Working as Cloud Developer for one of the clients named Vericast. Vericast is a Customer Data Platform and Marketing cloud that helps its customers to consolidate its data.. I'm working as a Cloud Engineer, defining and creating new microservices for this big platform. It’s a whole new product that eventually will replace the current platform. - Redesign and implement a new ETL process used in the platform. This is not just an ETL software because we have several previous and post process steps to do transformations and other types of modifications like using the USPS service for address validation. - Migration of some of the current Serverless Microservices into a Rest API model implemented on top of a Kubernetes Cluster, using the Hub and Spoke design. - Create new services defining the corresponding infrastructure and developing the service itself. - Currently we are improving one of the most important processes of the platform, the one that is used to add all the relevant information to the platform, it’s an ingest process. This process includes a redesign of the actual architecture. My task was to perform the development, test and implement different desktops application wich were part of the product. Technologies used: Python, PostgresSQL, PyCharm, TCL/TKInter, PGAdmin III.
