Destination Management for a high-profile party during the IAAPA Expo in Orlando. The event was held at the John Lennon Room, Hard Rock Cafe at Universal Studios. Diego led the event management and went above and beyond for our team. From the venue contract through the end of the party he took care of us and allowed us to focus on our guests. Diego was responsive to several last-minute plan changes that could have been stressful, including a significant increase in the guest list and accommodating the additional food, beverage, and seating. He also made it possible to keep the party going an hour past our contract. Diego is more than an event manager. He is a caring partner. He helped us capture the early excitement from our team with mad iPhone camera skills pre-party and dug into his bag of tricks to find an adopter for my phone when I was about to lose power. Finally, he took the time to walk me to the shared-ride location when I told him I was concerned about getting lost in the park at night. I hired a successful team of employees and developed strong partnerships with local businesses, schools and hospitals, which grew consumer interest in the surrounding local market. With my client-focused methods of sales promotions and concentration on community connection, my stores influenced a variety of processes for how the company marketed itself to consumers, especially during the initial testing for mobile-repair services.
