  Research, Study and Design of technologies focused on the speed up of old processes or optimization of new machines.In the R&D dept. my role foresees the following activities: - Management of mechanical design activities in the R&D department;- Coordination of R&D technical designers and lab technicians;- Time and costs analysis following the quality control criteria;- Planning of projects with economical contribution EC;- Definition of procedures and rules for machines safety;- Technical assesment for new company candidates.In the design and R&D dept. I am the technical reference for:- web bonding technologies (US and thermo-mechanical)- machine noise assessment and control- powder dosing technologiesThe continuous research of innovative technical solutions allowed me to achieve brillant results and to patent several products design and devices in collaboration with the company.

• Design team leader of the GluelessTM project

  The LIFE GLUELESS project had the aim to demonstrate that a significant reduction in the environmental impact of AHP could be achieved through a drastic reduction in the use of glue in the production process of a diaper. The project was cofounded by the EU that monitored periodically the status of the activities and in partnership with Fater S.p.A. and The University of Manchester.I coordinated the R&D design and testing team and We completely achieved all the results foreseen which can be consulted on the Fameccanica website in a dedicated section.
