I spent 5 months in North/Central America (Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa-Rica & Panama) and 11 months in South America (Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina & Brazil). After having successfully passed all my years at Solvay without failing, I felt the need to leave, to breath, to discover new cultures and people and go on a new adventure by myself far away from home. That was now or never situation and I picked now. I had objectives around 3 pillars:- Languages: learn Spanish and improve my English- Cultures: get to know the locals and learn something about every country I visit to open my mind and increase my global awareness about this continent. At the end having a proper global picture of what happened to this continent in the past and what are the actual political and economical challenges those countries are facing now. - Personal: I changed a lot thanks to this trip. To sum up, I would say that it made more human. And it becomes essential in a world leading by technologies and going into robotics.
