  As the Area Manager in charge of the Area 1 & 2 Process units I was charged to run the process in a safe, environmentally compliant manner consistant with all applicable OSHA and EPA regulations. The work force included 2 Asst. Managers, 2 Superintendents, 1 Maintenance Coordinator, and a Compliance Coordinator in addtion there were approximately 80 hourly employees between the 2 areas.The units included 2 Crude Distillation units combined capacity of 160 M BPD. 2 Vacuum Distillation units at combined capacity 100 M BPD, 1 Visbreaking unit at 40 M BPD. 2 Heavy Gas oil Desulfurizing unts at 90 M BPD. 1 Platformer, 2 Naphtha Fractionating units and a Gas Recovery unit, The department went 4 years without a recordable accident and 22 months without an Environmental incident.
