  I head up our store build team for both new stores and existing refurbishments. We have a team that designs the stores, gains all the required permits, appoints the approved shop fitter and signs off all defects in preparation for opening. In this role I negotiate with Landlords, Councils, Certifiers and other regulartory bodies. I negotiate suppliers / pricing for our equipment to ensure we always get the best deal to ensure we keep our shop builds at the best price we can without compromising on the quality and functionality of the store. In additon to this I run the Quality / Food Safety Program for Wendy's including registration of it with the Public Health Department in Victoria. This part of my role sees me involved in all our new product development and running our Approved Supplier Training. I travel around all our suppliers on a yearly basis and undertake audits on them to ensure they continue to meet our required standards. I also run our Workplace Health and Safety System including being the Workcover Rehabilitation Coordinator for corporate incidences. I supply the training in Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety and in our Crisis Management System for all incoming franchisees to ensure we maintain a high calibre of franchisees. Integral member of the Wendy's team winning the Franchise Council of Australia Award in 2014 for Franchisor of the Year.
