WaterFire is a not-for-profit cultural initiative with locations throughout the world. Manage public relations, social media and marketing outreach for an installation in the development located in the greater Riverhead/Riverside area, working title (in development & funding phase): WaterFire on the Peconic. Develop and maintain two key websites - one for WaterFire International and one for WaterFire on the Peconic; design and produce literature to support a new installation on the Peconic River. Acting Fundraising & Volunteer Coordinator. • Creative guidance to community leaders on branding, events and fundraising efforts. • Facilitate community outreach engagements, grant applications, research and project development. The Suffolk Theater, is a newly renovated 1933 art deco theater with seating capability of 450 for concerts and private events. I was responsible for all public relations, marketing, graphic design and photography of both the theater itself as well as the events. I managed a staff of 5 people whom I hired and trained.
