I was hired as a technical SME in credit risk to design and develop a new application for the bank to process cleared OTC derivatives. We sun expanded to provide that service to other financial entities as clients. After the initial product release the team grew from 2 people to 8 over 4 years as we accommodated more varied client needs, and added financial products and exchanges to the portfolio. As the team grew we shifted our processes toward an agile model, which evolved as we discovered what elements worked best for us. Switching the team to test driven development for our second major release was a fantastic learning experience. Show less
