  Having spent over 30 years in hospitality serving, caring and nurturing guests the growth of wellness in tourism saw a natural growth to this family business into spa with the opening of Fistral Spa in 2007. Spa and subsequently wellness became a passion. In 2013 the Gaia concept began to grow. The result is an innovative and personalised spa experience combining treatments and products that will renew, support, sustain and nurture. A total solution including the Gaia academy, products and treatments. Inspired by traveling around the world, being invited to conferences such as the Global Wellness Summit, speaking at events and recently becoming a key supporter of Global Wellness Day. Boringdon Hall Hotel Situated on the edge of the idyllic Dartmoor National Park , the only 5* hotel in Plymouth. Retaining its traditional charm and historic character to this day, Boringdon successfully combines the atmosphere of a bygone era with the luxuries of modern day living. The Gallery restaurant has been awarded three rosettes. Boringdon Hall was the first venue to launch the Gaia brand in September 2016. The largest spa opening in the country lat year. Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall combines ancient wellness traditions from around the world with the refinement and skills of modern therapies. Leading the way in a spa revolution, the flagship Gaia Spa retreat, treatment menu and product range has already received accolades from Pure Beauty, Natural Health Magazine and the spa has recently won Professional Beauty's best spa in the South West and Wales and Conde Nest Johansens best destination spa for the UK and Ireland. Shortlisted for best hotel spa in Western Europe by World Spa and Wellness awards. The winner to be announced February 2018.
