  As office administrator for Durst & Gans, I was responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations of running a construction company. Responsibilities included bookkeeping utilizing QuickBooks, maintaining state and insurance requirements for Durst & Gans and its subcontractors, preparing payroll and tax reports, working directly with associated professionals including accountants and attorneys, and putting together Contracts with General Conditions and Specifications for new home construction and remodeling projects. I have to say that performing the secretarial duties of the job (typing Contracts and Specifications) was the most educational component that lead to such a strong background in home construction, benefiting my real estate career.
