The Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCFC) was formed in 2002 as the nonprofit lending affiliate of Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing. OCFC is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati and Opportunity Finance Network. OCFC provides flexible financing products and utilizes partnerships for the expansion and preservation of affordable housing. OCFC has closed 800+ loans, financed more than 38,000 units, and generated over $890 million to assist in the production, rehabilitation and preservation of affordable housing and community development. In this role, I am responsible for thought leadership, concept development, researching, writing and submission of funding opportunities and managing the compliance of funded awards for OCFC. Since 2004, OCFC has received 20 awards totaling $55.7M from the CDFI Fund, with 7 currently open. All of these awards have enabled OCFC to increase and expand our lending, and to introduce new products tailored to the evolving needs of communities. Show less
