  As a Pharmacy Associate, I served as a first point-of contact to a diverse population. I provided expertise in processing prescriptions and ensured outstanding service to a diverse clientele under the direction of a licensed pharmacist or a pharmacy technician. I made sure to accurately input prescription information into the CVS computer system, which was especially critical when communicating with insurance companies, and the detail information in that regard, as my goal was to expediently but correctly process claims and gain coverage information. I also greeted each customer in a professional manner and made it my mission to establish excellent relationships with clients by fulfilling multiple needs around prescription and order processing, and answering general questions. If I didn’t know the answer, I would ask someone else in order to help the customers. Because of my helpful demeanor, I also built guest confidence and ensured the appropriate counseling from the pharmacist or the pharmacy technician. Lastly, I supported the pharmacy team by assisting with ordering, restocking, creating and updating purchase orders, acknowledging invoices, generating prescription labels, and stocking the pharmacy with supplies.
