  I help lead a team of 150+ staff members at a 4.5 star hotel located on Eyre Peninsula, in a role created for me when I was approached back in early 2010. Without much hotel operation knowledge, but a passion for good customer service, experience in staff management, event planning and execution, media and public relations - I took up the role that has become one of the greatest achievements of my professional career. I have developed sales and marketing strategies that have helped take the Port Lincoln Hotel into a sustainable future position, with a constant increase in visitor numbers, repeat bookings and public relations and reviews. A direct increase in corporate sales and events has been my main focus, helping other departments manage the increase in customers and the subsequent spin offs. Leading by example in this role is important - not only to me, but to the brand I represent. It has been a challenge, but one I continue to take on as we grown and take bookings for 2015 and beyond!
