Executive Director of Lanark County Mental Health community-based transitional youth and adult mental health agency. Coordinate and lead I the development of long range plan for mental health services that focus on the provision of high quality, cost effective care, consistent with the overall programs and strategic plan. Direct liaison with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, The South East and Champlain Local Health Integrated Network, community agencies and collaborative partnerships for integrated services and resources. Ensure the development and promotion of a client-centered culture based on the focus of recovery. Ensure the preparation of budgets and implementation of human resource policies and practices aimed at enhancing employee motivation, productivity, teamwork that are compliant with relevant employment and labor legislation. Create and sustain an accurate and positive agency community image in the delivery of mental health services through positive linkages with individuals, agencies, protocol agreements and external resources which support the Mission of Lanark County Mental Health. Implementation of comprehensive crisis response network through community based mental health agency in Lanark County. Established comprehensive clinical assessment tools and outcome measures in identifying needs for persons experiencing moderate to serious mental illness. Identified best practice models in providing comprehensive crisis response and treatment toward recovery ad stabilization. Provided clinical supervision and consultation with a multidisciplinary team including Masters of Social Workers, Registered Community Mental Health Nurses, Case Managers and Psychiatrists. Organize community education events for improved understanding of mental illness and response strategies. Developed Lanark County L.E.A.D. Team Protocol and training in 2005 to provide comprehensive community response with mental health agency, community hospitals, police and ambulance services, addiction, child and youth services.
